Slit Seeding is the best way to ensure great germination for seeding a lawn.  Our machine produces consistant, high quality seeding results time after time.  We use only premium seed in our operation to ensure a healthy lawn that will be disease and drought resistant.  We keep accurate records on how much & what variety of grass we use.  This allows a uniform grass color and texture for your lawn in future renovations and repair work.

Investing in top quality seed and slit seeding will yeild much better results in contrast to using a generic lawn seed with a broadcast seeding method

How It Works:
Our commercial grade slit-seeder and dethatcher machine is one of the best in turf renovation,  It has a series of vertical blades which rake up any thatch, then drops seed in the individual slices.  This practically guarentees great germination because of the excellent seed-soil contact.  The thatch can be left ontop of the existing grass to provide some light shading for the emerging seedlings.  Jobs are priced dependant on seed quality, variety and application rate.  One major cost adjuster is single-pass versus the traditional and recommended double-pass method.  We do double-pass by default unless otherwise specified..  Double-pass is when we do two seperate half-rate applications in opposing directions to eliminate "crop row" effect where single rows of grass are seen.
